The Anneau is first and foremost reserved for school sporting activities and offers an 8  x  8,  divisible in two space,  two handball courts, an athletics track, a speed track, a fitness trail and two beach volley courts.

But it is also a welcoming and fun communal space with picnic areas, a play area fitted with games for children aged from 1 to 8, table tennis, a starting point for ten walking or jogging trails and it also has drinking water and toilets.

 

Local gym at L'Anneau

Located on Avenue Charles de Gaulle, the gym is used mainly by schools and associations. It is laid with a synthetic floor for maximum comfort during games and offers a good level of soundproofing for users. The gym is equipped to allow playing of the following sports :

• Gymnastics
• Handball / Mini handball / Beach handball
• Tennis
• Volley-ball / Beach Volley / Green-Volley

L'ancien gymnase

Cette salle multisports dispose d'aménagements permettant de nombreux jeux de balles. Avec son sol béton et ses dimensions de 40m de long et 20 m de large, cette structure est souvent utilisée par les associations.

The town boasts four outdoor, asphalt tennis courts and one covered in synthetic resin. The courts are managed by the Mallemort Tennis Club with 158 members, of which 75 are minors and 83 adults. Contact details are as follows:

Dribble-lovers can meet at the mini-stadium to play a game of basketball in a safe environment. The flexible floor helps absorb the shocks, making the game more enjoyable. Opposite the skatepark, the court is easy to spot thanks to its lofty green nets.

You can also play basketball on the concrete court that runs alongside the skatepark.

Mallemort is equipped with two beach volley courts. The latest facilities have been made available to the inhabitants of Mallemort and are also available to sports clubs – booking required via the Town Hall.

The boules court is located on the esplanade in front of the town hall. Under the shade of the plane trees, you can meet keen petanque enthusiasts who will introduce you to the ultimate ‘sport of provence’.

The Mallemort skatepark was renovated in 2015 offering youngsters ample skating facilities.

Nowadays a space of 650 m² of concrete offers:

• A volcano
• Low walls
• A stair
• Two handrails

These latest equipments blend nicely into the setting. As a matter of fact, the surrounding areas were the subject of a landscape study to ensure the wellbeing of the local residents.
