Agriculture in france along with the agribusiness and forestry sectors are a means to meet the challenges of economic, social and environmental competitiveness. The law for the future dated 13th october 2014 provides for the implementation of agro-ecology so as to help our farms achieve good performance levels from an economic, environmental and social point of view. Since the law was enacted, almost 250 giees (economic and environmental interest groupings) have already been created.
Goals
- Promote access to quality food produced in responsables
- Développer terms of production sectors and competitive and ecological transformation
- Support income, increase employment and improve the quality of life of farmers and employees
- Support research , innovation and development
- Contribute to the protection of public health and the health of farmers and agricultural employees , as well as that of the animals and their environment
- Develop value-added in each of the agricultural and food sectors and strengthen the export capacity of the France
- Search balance of trade, including better wage share
- Participate in the development of a balanced and sustainable territories
- Promote territorial anchoring of the production and promote the diversity of products and the development of production
- Promote consumer information about the places and modes of production and processing of agricultural products and food
- Promote the conversion and development of agriculture and the organic sector within the meaning of Article L. 641-13
- Support the energy transition
- Contribute to food aid
- Meet population growth and strengthen food autonomy in the world
- Contribute to the collective organization of players
- Develop prevention and risk management systems
